The Hour -->> 1850hrs!

And on the 6th day, after God had made man,  football was! A sport among many, but one that transcends all, and without discussion, the best! "Football, I mean, Tennis has to be the best game to ever be..." won't be a surprising response from even Djonkovic, the Tennis king! And you guessed it right, its my sport too! I play, talk, and watch the game, but for now, am just gonna talk about it!

A few weeks ago, after Real Madrid put their nemesis behind them at Camp Nou in the race for the top Spanish Football diadem, the now 100-points-a-season champions  without a doubt announced their arrival to the scene that had eluded them since the last decade when Pep Guardiola's army took firm charge. And such an arrival sure deserves 100, plus +9 points to boast about; The big question however, remains... does that mean a downfall for the Catalans? You might be tempted to think so, considering that they have lost their football genius in Pep, trail Madrid by 9 points on match day 38, and lost to the ECL champions wannabe - Chelsia! Well, can't wait to discover the next Barcelona...but as long as it has the little wonder thing in Leo, all is not lost!

As far as Spanish football goes, that is all there is to talk about...Madrid and Barcelona! Everything else, needs an overhaul! Its this bad: A mid - table team in England like Swansea, could comfortably compete for a champions league slot...mmmh!

I think Juventus too deserves a mention here! Having fought for its life from the red zone, a.k.a relegation zone a few seasons back, they managed to pull the unbeaten stunt! one, that hitherto had been, and still is (since there is not anything else to show) every Arsenal follower's all time best punchline! At times I just enjoy messing around with Arsenal fans, for nothing else, but just to hear this; there go the game changers now!

Ladies and gentlemen, come with me to where every kick of a ball holds a chance of making or breaking any team, and every team means business on any given footballing day ->England, the home of English football; the EPL!

The EPL footballing arena today finally came to a befitting close. Arguably, the best season ever, at least in my footballing lifetime! The day was tense, especially for the bottom five, slot number 3 contenders, and of course, the table toppers! Am sure if the Octopus were still alive today, he would have been strangled to death for refusing to identify the winning colors!

The phrase, "It ain't over until the fat lady sings" finally made sense to me! The Manchester teams have definitely stood out this term, and they almost pulled the Spanish Madrid-Barcelona stunt (in fact they did; you might consider having a look at the table again, though it looked more of a Madrid-Madrid stunt!). These two have just but been something else.You never knew when they were gonna stop, until that hour that every Manchester fan would rather not hear a mention of - 1850hrs, Kenyan time! black Sunday the 13th, when England came to a stand still!

Until then, the pendulum had been swinging more to the red side, and had almost stopped swinging, until **** happened! When you are 2-1 down in the 90th minute of a 90-minute game, unless you practice sorcery, or at least believe in magic, or you are this guy ->> Sergio Aguerothen your world stops, especially when you need to win, to count!

5 minutes have never been longer than they seemed, or at least, football has never been played that fast in 5 minutes! 1845 - 1850 hrs are the minutes I'm talking about! At this point, I wished the football officials were for once strict with the 90-minutes allocated to a football game, and blow the final whistle, and my faith was all time highest, that even the best fortune teller could not let the pendulum start swinging the blue way again!

My joy was so short lived, that I didn't even get to see the scorer of the equalizer, until I saw this;

Because of this;
Amazing what one man's foot can do to another's soul and emotions!

The scoreline read 3-2 in favor of Manchester City, and the time read 1850hrs! And just like that, the pendulum had started swinging, stopped at blue, and fallen there, all in 5 minutes, giving City this!

And now, this man just can't believe what just happened;

Someone then whispered this to him: "Sir, am sorry to report that for now, the Cham19ons would do, and the Champ20ns have to wait just a little longer. The new swag in town is Champ3ons! Don't worry though, you are still 16 better than the Champ3ons" The harder the struggle, the sweeter the victory, and that couldn't be more clear than today!

That said,  MANCHESTER CITY deserve an applause for the mission well accomplished; They played well, scored goals, kept a neat home record, brought home the self-exiled majestic Tevez, and stuck with the wayward Balotelli! Without discussion, they have had the best squad in England...by far even in Barcelona's standards! And when you have a squad like that, you should not stop at anything, and that includes winning even the world cup!

It remains to be seen if its a new dynasty that has just been built in Manchester, and brought another one down! However, with a squad of such depth and breadth, only a goal difference of +8 to show for the crown is just not good enough! A lot more was expected, but you are vindicated for now, and declared champ3ons!

In other news, AW feels cheated for winning a trophy he never received! A good number of the City-winning squad belonged to Arsenal, and once an Arsenal player, always one, but thanks to the Etihad money! Maybe its time for AW to find a money well too, if he can't get back his players, he can at least buy the trophy...!

    Well written,a few typos here and there as I am bound to point out but over all I must say this is quite neat and I love the fact that you included photos in this,they didn't lie when they said that a picture is worth a 1000 words,and the one with Fergie is probably worth more than 89 points.
